I am a retired grandfather of two young ladies. I have always had an interest in writing, but not until my younger granddaughter, who was in the 5th grade at the time, encouraged me to write a story for her class, did I "put pen to paper" and create a pre-teen mystery novel. The story was self-published and is called "Emma's Gift" and can be found for download in LuLu.com.

My older granddaughter, who is now interviewing colleges, encouraged me to place my novel, "The Gizeh Scroll", on createspace.com. She had told me about her own story which she had placed on this site, and the rest is history.

This is my first attempt at a novel, and I hope it proves both enjoyable and thought provoking.
